UMCOR Cleaning Kit Challenge | Sep 30

UMCOR Cleaning Kit Challenge | Sep 30

UMCOR’s (United Methodist Committee on Relief) depot is empty and hurricane season is here. Our goal is to raise $1500 before the end of September to assemble 20 cleaning kits. Additional funds raised will go to more kits or UMCOR National Disaster Relief. Make your donation to Herndon UMC and designate “UMCOR kits” by any of the usual routes–online or by check– or give directly at bit.ly/UMCORKitChallenge. (Note: 2.2% in fees are deducted from online gifts.)

Herndon UMC would not be able to make these opportunities to serve and share God’s love available without the financial gifts made to and through our church.

Every two weeks, a new question will be posted here to help encourage life group discussions.

Do you use something to help you with prayer?

Herndon UMC’s core values are that

God’s love is real. God’s love is active. God’s love is for everyone.

701 Prayer

Herndon UMC’s breakthrough prayer, written by a team of church family members, helps us be open to all that God is calling us to be.  Please pray it with us often.
