Open: Living the 701 Life
August 21 – October 2, 2022
In 2019, as a part of the Herndon UMC strategic planning process, a group of leaders came together to write something that has become known as the “701 Prayer”. This prayer has been used for three years as a way to start meetings, to remind ourselves of the role we play in community, and to be intentional in our prayers for God to open us to whatever God may have for us as a church family. In this sermon series, we’ll explore the different prayers that are embedded within this important prayer. As we do so, we will be praying to discover the kind of openness God might be encouraging within us for whatever God might be doing in and through Herndon UMC.
